Background Information : At Northwood High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. She became interested in various artistic endeavors and began to write and play music. She attended the San Francisco Art Institute, where she studied painting. For several years, she continued to develop her photography skills while holding various jobs, including a stint on a kibbutz in Amir, Israel, for several months in 1969.

The purpose of this image is to place in the front cover of the National Geographic Magazine, which it will attract more people to buy it.
Lighting : As this picture is all about the nature environment and animals, and more importantly it is taken under the sea. Therefore there is no artificial light kits is been used in the picture. However Low key light is been used to taken this image.
Image Analysis : The camera had been placed between the middle of the water level, the camera had captured the river jelly fish and the man on the boat. In this image, it had used a depth as the close image had a clear detail and the far object had a blur image. Therefore the jellyfish had definitely draw people attention when they first looked at it. In the picture the frame was full of natural object make perfect natural frames. It even makes the jelly fish attract more attention .
Meaning : The Jellyfish in the river is actually a side product of population. River jellyfish only grow in polluted water and the man in the image remind how human had harm the natural environment over the century.

The purpose of this image is to celebrate Queen Elizabeth visited the United States for 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown. Annie Leibovitz was to take a photo for the celebration in 2007. This photo was actually been placed in the UK website, magazines and newspaper.
Image Analysis : In this image, Queen Elizabeth was standing in the middle left of the image and the background is a Scotland country side. As the Scotland country side is just a background of the image. Annie Leibovitz had to use a depth to blur the background to focus on Queen Elizabeth. As the result, only Queen Elizabeth was actually draw people attention.
It had used a low light set up and is been place at the front top of the model. As only the facial part can be seen clearly, not even the dressing of the queen. It create a strong contrasting shadows on her clothing, which can give people an impression of the seriousness of the Queen Elizabeth.
Meaning: At 1988 Annie Leibovitz wants to film a series of picture about confident. Back to 1975 , Arnold Schwarzenegger and Annie Leibovitz had been worked for a few times before. At 1988 when Annie Leibovitz on a trip to America. Annie Leibovitz had borrowed Arnold Schwarzenegger for a series of picture to express confident with a 5 times Olympic bodybuilder champion.
Image Analysis : In the image, Arnold Schwarzenegger is ridding a horse and smoking cigar. The dressing style of Arnold Schwarzenegger is just jeans and pair of boots. As Arnold Schwarzenegger is a muscular person, in the image he was topless which the muscle can be seen clearly on his body. It show how powerful and confident he is. To try to let audience mainly focus on Arnold Schwarzenegger, the image had been cropped down. It can be seen clearly as the head of the horse and the tail is been cropped and disappear in the image.
The lighting of the image is only been faced to the front side of the model. Only the facial part can be seen brightly and his back was all dim. Background Information : David Doubilet is a well known underwater photographer.In his early career he worked for National Geographic Magazine. He was born in New York and started taking photos underwater at the young age of 12. He started with a Brownie Hawkeye in a rubber anesthesiologist's bag to keep the water out of the camera. During his summer holidays, he spent his time along the New Jersey coast in Long Branch, later residing in the city's Elberon section. He later worked as a diver and photographer for the Sandy Hook Marine Laboratories in New Jersey. He also spent much time in the Caribbean. While a dive instructor in the Bahamas, he found his motivation to capture the beauty of the sea and everything in it.

The image is very has a pattern of the Sardine was swimming in a circular pattern and the diver was swimming in the middle. It gives audience an impression of how magnificent the nature is. Also the image had been cropped to fit the whole frame with full of animals in the image.
